To create a pleasant stay for you and the other guests at HomestayGent, the following house rules apply.

GENERAL

Respect for the neighbours

HomestayGent is located in an apartment complex. HomestayGent kindly requests its guests not to cause any nuisance. Quiet please from 10 pm to 7 am.

Reservation

When making a reservation, the number of people who will spend the night at HomestayGent must always be stated correctly.

Children under the age of 14 are not allowed at HomestayGent.

Layout

The hostess determines which layout of the rooms and/or studio fits within the occupancy of HomestayGent. The hostess will mainly base the layout on the availability of the rooms and/or the studio. Naturally, the hostess will not lose sight of the comfort for the customer.

An offer will therefore always be based on the available possibilities and does not form a starting point for further negotiation.

Maximum occupancy of rooms and studio

HomestayGent has three double rooms and four single rooms.

The double rooms are suitable for a maximum occupancy of 2 persons and the single rooms for a maximum occupancy of 1 person. It is therefore not allowed to stay in the room with more than two people and/or to stay in a double room and for a single room the occupancy is a maximum of 1 person.

When violating the maximum occupancy indicated on the reservation form / online booking site, HomestayGent will charge 100% of the applicable overnight rate per violation, on top of the accommodation costs already due.

Visitors

If you wish to receive guests, you must inform the hostess in advance.

Checking in

In principle, check-in is from 15:00. A different time can arranged in consultation with the hostess. Check-in is preferably before 22:00.

In any case, indicate at least one day before arrival at what time you expect to arrive. For example, you can also arrive earlier to put down your luggage and collect the key. Before checking in you will receive the access code(s) via email on the day of arrival.

Checking out

Check-out is possible between 07:00 and 11:00 on the day of departure. Depending on the occupancy, in consultation with (and after permission from) the hostess for the weekend booking, a different check-out time can apply on Saturday and Sunday until 12:00. However, the guideline remains 11:00 am.

Late check out

A late check-out after 11:00 am to 3:00 pm is possible for an additional payment of €20.00 subject to availability and upon approval of the hostess.

 

Key management

Upon arrival you will receive one key for your stay, which is located in a key safe of your booked room. You must ensure that the doors of your accommodation are locked and that the lighting is switched off. When checking out, please return the key by placing it back in the key safe (master locker).

Loss of key and/or late delivery

If you lose a key, HomestayGent will charge you € 200.00. Even if the key has not been returned at the check-out hour (11 am at the latest) and if no permission has been given to check out later, HomestayGent will charge the costs of €200 for replacing the locks.

Note: the cylinder lock is always replaced if the key is not returned before 2 pm. These costs will be charged to the guest.

Guarantee hygiene

It is not allowed to sleep on the beds in the rooms and/or studio without sheets and pillowcases.

In the event that non-removable stains occur in the mattress, duvet, bedspread and decorative pillows or towels during the overnight stay, HomestayGent will charge the resulting cleaning costs and/or costs for replacing the materials to the customer.

Prices

The prices include gas, water, electricity, bed, bath and kitchen linen. The use of coffee and tea and toiletries. Free use of TV, WiFi and free parking on site at HomestayGent

In the unlikely event that the services such as TV and/or Wifi do not function or do not function properly during the stay at HomestayGent, this does not entitle the customer to a refund of all or part of the room price due.

Parking

You can park your car for free on the public road in front of the building or, subject to reservation, you can park in our closed garage. Price per day €5

Sound

HomestayGent asks its guests to refrain from loud noise in their rented accommodation / studio and the common areas. All music – and any other sound – produced in any way must be tuned to room strength, so that no noise nuisance arises for other guests and local residents, and is prohibited from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. in the morning. We ask guests to take into account noise nuisance in the entrance hall, the communal kitchen and the terrace.

Waste

Garbage can be deposited in the appropriate garbage bags. You may leave empty glassware, which the hostess will clear for you in connection with waste separation.

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

To smoke

At HomestayGent, smoking is prohibited in the accommodation and the common areas. In consultation you can smoke on the terrace (only for guests room 3) and outside at the entrance hall, provided that this does not bother others and safety is not compromised. During smoking, the doors and windows of the accommodation must be closed. The terrace must remain butt free. Butts must therefore be left in the designated butt bin. Do not leave candles burning unattended.

If a violation of the smoking ban is established, a compensation of € 100 will be charged

Alcohol and (soft) drugs

Alcohol abuse is prohibited, so enjoy, but drink in moderation. It is prohibited at HomestayGent to possess, use and/or trade drugs.

internet

HomestayGent offers a WIFI guest network. The user will refrain from visiting internet websites that have an unlawful character or that are inconsistent with HomestayGent's reputation as a provider of accommodation. If nuisance from third parties and/or (other) internet abuse by the user is detected or suspected, HomestayGent has the right to block or not completely block access to the internet without further notice.

Injury

HomestayGent is in no way liable for any form of damage, loss or theft that you have or experience during your stay at HomestayGent.

If damage is caused to the accommodation or its furnishings during your stay, you must inform the hostess.

Each damage that was caused will be assessed separately, and the amount of compensation will be determined according to the damage.
